This week we will go a bit further north, in Edinburgh. While venues and artists have started the preparation for Edinburgh Festival Fringe another arts festival will take place at the end of the month.
Hidden Door
Hidden Door is a not for profit arts festival that takes place in abandoned or hidden places in Edinburgh and provides a unique mix of visual art, music, theatre, dance and cinema.
The event this year will be take place 27 May - 4 June and is called ‘Hidden Door Electric City’ in homage to the site’s recent history as a street lighting depot. It will feature a diverse exciting programme including 50 visual artists, 35 live music acts, 15 theatre companies, 20 poets and 12 film organisations.
