Last Saturday we had the pleasure to host SpeakUp Arts #2 at the IKLECTIK Art lab. It was an evening where audiences and artists came together to enjoy a mix/match of art forms from theatre to music, passing through illustration and typewriting drawing. This time the theme of the night was 'secrets', and little surprises where hidden all around including the way the artistic work was presented. There was laughter, intense silence, joy, awkwardness, surprise and dance, lots of dance.
We would like to thank the entire artistic team and their very special helpers for such a great set up, their enthusiasm and commitment to make this project happen. Also, a loud thank you to everyone who joined us on the night and everyone who helped us spread the word, organise and run the event. Stay tuned for SpeakUp Arts #3...!
